A CHRISTMAS MARKETS CRUISE TO REMEMBER
Czechia, Germany & Austria – December 2024
As Tour Leader for Pukekohe Travel, I accompanied a small group of 12 on a magical Xmas Markets trip. We began with time in Prague and then spent a week cruising along the Danube from Nuremburg to Vienna experiencing winter wonderland along the way.

PORTUGUESE ESCAPADE

What an amazing country Portugal is. This was my fourth visit and it never ceases to surprise. Half the size of NZ, with twice the population, it’s an affordable, intrepid, innovative and academic nation with a huge sense of pride. With superb roads and infrastructure you can’t go wrong – get there if you can.

The word “Tuscany” is sure to conjure up images of ochre-toned farmhouses surrounded by sun-drenched vineyards and olive groves; visions of old stone fortresses, enchanting alleyways and picturesque hillside villages reached via meandering country roads; and dreams of languid lunches al fresco. With wine. But, more than all this, the true magic of Tuscany lies in the feelings this beautiful region evokes.
